Live from New York it's Saturday Night! One of the most famous/memorable lines in the world. It is known by everyone across the world. SNL used to be good, but now they try to hard to be funny it's just boring. I'll tell you when it was funny, when SNL had Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, and Chris Farley (just to name a few). These guys put SNL on the map and made it enjoyable to watch. The new cast has completely ruined live. I mean come on you got keenan thompson? The kid from Nickelodean, lol I think they wanted to make NBC suck even more. But the whole cast does not suck, I see some glimmer of hope and if I had money (;D) i'd place it on the tag team duo "Andy Samberg" & "Chris Parnell". You may know them from the famous Chronic what-kels of Narnia sketch (My Favorite). These guys are the only hope for SNL but other than them the cast tries to hard and is lame and not funny.
David Letterman? Not funny, now i'll admit David Letterman is oldschool I remember watching his first show it was plain but interesting. Now don't get me wrong David is a great host but when he does his opening skits he should sit down and do his Bush bashing clips asap. Now Paul Schaffer that guy is funny, not because of his comical values but because he reminds me of Uncle Fester + a white ray charles mixed, lol. David you're not funny so just get right to Performance's and interviews.
Carson Daily, why does he have a show? He is the worst host and is even a more worse comic. The laughs he generate make me wanna puke, they're sympathy laughs. It's hysterical. Here's what I suggest, if you worked for MTV when you leave them you should be thrown into a cage and get hand fed roasted peanuts. He's the reason why NBC is rated like what 7th out of 4 channels? lol.
I named a few who are not funny, the rest know who they are and they need to give up their dreams. Now on the other hand i'll name a few people who I think are generally funny.
